Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to stay at Seven Oaks Guest House.

We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful Lake District and hope this will be the first of many visits.

Please read our terms and conditions below:

Room availability
Whilst every endeavour will be made to secure a specific room requested, Seven Oaks Guest House reserves the right to alter such reservations if required. For the avoidance of doubt any alterations will be for a like for like basis or upgrade.

Prices
The price includes accommodation and breakfast.
We accept the following forms of payment: cash, bank transfer, debit cards and credit cards. Unfortunately we do not accept Diners Club.

Animals
Sorry we do not accept pets.

Cancellation and Insurance
If you need to cancel please contact us as soon as possible.

If it is necessary for guests to either alter or cancel their travel arrangements, we will attempt to re-sell the booking on your behalf. If this is not possible, the following details clarify our policy:

• If at least 21 days’ notice is given before the intended date of arrival, and we are able to re-sell the room, a full refund of any deposit already received will be made.
• We do understand that some cancellations are unavoidable and will endeavour to re-sell the room in order to be able to refund a deposit. We will only retain deposits for rooms we are unable to re-sell.
• Should the need arise to check out early, shorten or cancel your stay, we reserve the right to charge the full amount applicable to your original booking.

We recommend you check your travel insurance covers you for cancellations due to emergency situations.

Non-availability
Seven Oaks Guest House would only cancel a booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, we would refund monies already paid by you. Seven Oaks obligation would not extend beyond this. We would be happy to provide you with details of alternative accommodation in Keswick if required.

Arrival and Check-in
Your accommodation is available from 3.00pm. However, we often have rooms ready for occupation earlier and, providing you can let us know your arrival time in advance, an earlier check-in is often possible. Arrivals after 8.00 pm can also be arranged with prior notice. On arrival you will be provided with your own set of keys allowing free access to your room throughout your stay.

Departure
Please be ready to vacate your room by 10.30am on the day of departure. Your account is payable on departure however if you are making an early start please make arrangements to settle your account on the day prior to departure.

Damages and Breakages
We take great pride in providing excellent facilities and high levels of cleanliness. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur.
A nominal charge of £20 shall be levied for replacement room keys should the need arise.
